Leah Boody, President
As President and CEO, Leah oversees strategic direction at Pineapple Bytes. Leah spent 8 years in financial analysis roles with large multi-nationals, Coca Cola Enterprises and Bacardi International Limited. Following her experience with Bacardi in Bermuda, Leah joined the Nantes Group of Companies in Halifax as Chief Financial Officer. With her strong financial acumen, broad business experience and drive to help others, Leah is a passionate leader. She is Treasurer for the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia and Canadian representative for NCR’s Partner Advisory Board. A competitive squash player, Leah is Canada’s #1 ranked Women’s 35+ player and recently placed 6th at the World Master Squash Championships. Leah’s top priority in life are her husband and two young children
Steven Aucoin
Steve has been in Sales since he first took up Bartending in his late teens and has since worked Coast to Coast in Hospitality related Sales across Canada. Steve brings this breadth of experience and knowledge to Pineapple Bytes with his now 19 years of providing Aloha POS in Atlantic Canada and beyond. More than anything else Steve values the many friendships and ongoing relationships he has maintained within the industry throughout those years on both a professional and personal basis. Steve is a four time recipient of NCR’s Presidents Club and prides himself on his industry knowledge and related problem solving. When not working Steve’s key interests are Family, Music, Sailing, Golf, Hockey, English Football and the Ohio State Buckeyes former and future NCAA National Champions.
Drew Davis, Senior Account Executive

Sarah Dow
Recruited from western Canada, Sarah is an east coaster at heart. She joined Pineapple Bytes for a 6 month contract over 3 years ago. An accounting professional with over 5 years experience, Sarah’s passion lies with entrepreneurship and supporting local, small business. She completed her CPA designation articling at BDO Canada LLP, with a focus on Taxation and Assurance and holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of British Columbia.
Greg Corey, G.M.
Greg has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry including with some of our clients. Prior to joining the Marriott Hotels, Greg spent 5 years in British Columbia with Fairmont Hotels and managing Food & Beverage for a private golf course. In 2016 Greg was recognized as Leader of the Year for Fairmont Empress. In addition to his hospitality experience, Greg spent 7 years working for a printing company in Halifax as Sales & General Manager. During this role, Greg was instrumental in driving sales. He understands the challenges and opportunities of small business and has a hands-on approach to solving problems. A bilingual professional dedicated to excellent customer service, Greg is positive and enthusiastic and thrives in a team environment. Greg lives in Waverly with his wife Alison and their two children, 5 year old son Alex and 6 year old daughter Miley. Greg & Alison’s kids were both born in BC but Greg says “they were meant to be Maritimers!” Outside of work, Greg and his family are often at the rink, horse stable or swimming pool. Greg enjoys cycling, travelling and has gained an appreciation of good food and drink in his 20 + years in the hospitality industry.

Chris Hunter
As a member of the management team, Chris oversees daily operations of the retail division within Pineapple Bytes as Operations Manager – Retail. Chris’s two main priorities at Pineapple Bytes include managing implementation projects, and managing a team of Technical Support Specialists who implement and support our retail product, NCR Counterpoint.
Chris is a veteran in the retail industry with 17 years’ experience in customer service, management and operations. Chris is also an experienced NCR Counterpoint user and has managed large teams throughout his career.
Chris has a BComm with a Finance major from Saint Mary’s University. In 2016, he completed the Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) program at Saint Mary’s University and is also Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Chris is very versatile in business, and deeply believes in continuous improvement and encouraging employee driven solutions. He is passionate about helping co-workers and customers achieve all of their goals and objectives.
Chris lives in Cole Harbour with his wife and son. He regularly plays both hockey and slo-pitch, and is a minor hockey, minor baseball, and mini-soccer coach.

As Operations Manager – Hospitality, Greg is responsible for leading a team of technical gurus to implement and support technology solutions to the hospitality industry in Atlantic Canada. Greg started his career as a software and hardware developer, specializing in business management solutions. He joined the hospitality industry in 2004 as one of the first members of a technical team supporting point of sales systems and quickly became a technical lead in 2007. With over 15 years’ experience with hospitality solutions and a passion for helping others, Greg is highly respected by his coworkers and clients and treats every clients business as if it were his own.
